When the funded projects run
O-CEI: Open CloudEdgeIoT Platform Uptake in Large Scale Cross-Domain Pilots
€23.1M EU contribution · 65 partners · 2025-01 to 2028-06 · coordinated by Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (ES)
O-CEI overarching goal is to pilot the imperative of accelerating the uptake and upscaling of innovative Cloud-Edge-IoT solutions, strengthening Europe’s competitiveness and open strategic autonomy by orchestrating cross-domain data sharing, minimising energy footprint, stimulating multi-sided marketplaces, and promoting open standards for virtualisation and interoperability.
COP-PILOT: Collaborative Open Platform for PILOTing services across energing smart IoT and Edge computing environments
€22.5M EU contribution · 46 partners · 2025-01 to 2027-12 · coordinated by Netcompany SA (LU)
The integration of edge computing, advanced 5G connectivity, and decentralized processing drives the widespread deployment of private edge ecosystems capable to reshape numerous industry sectors. However, unlocking the full potentials of edge-level intelligent management requires concerted efforts in platform development and cross-sector collaboration.
