Description
Qualitative and quantitative indicators for the action:
1. Number of projects implemented;
2. Number of SMEs and NGOs/CSOs involved in the projects;
3. Impact of the projects on the environment or society;
4. Long-term sustainability of the projects, beyond the duration of EU funding
Scope:Scope of the call:
The general objective of this call for proposals is to tackle the expertise of NGOs/CSOs to assist SMEs in their transition to more sustainable business models by funding practical projects/actions able to impact the environmental and/or social performance of the SMEs. This call is expected to help enhance interaction and improve collaboration between small- and medium-sized enterprises and NGOs/CSOs active in the same regions.
The projects/actions will be implemented by consortia composed of interested SMEs, NGOs/CSOs and other relevant parties able to contribute to the implementation of the projects/actions.
This call builds on the mission of the Enterprise Europe Network and gives to interested EEN members an additional tool to assist SMEs in their transition to more sustainable business models. Therefore, the projects/actions will be coordinated by an active EEN member.
If successful, this project could be scaled up further to finance more projects/actions between SMEs and NGOs/CSOs.
