Description
The objective of this call for proposals is to provide financial contribution to the public and private non-profit organisatons active in consumer protection or consumer education. Action grants may be allocated to finance projects that aim to empower and to enhance consumers’ knowledge of their rights, obligations, and choices in the market by providing training, assistance, and advice, paying particular attention to the most vulnerable consumers.
A wide range of activities are eligible to be supported by grants if they can be linked to the expected results. Such activities may include for instance (non-exhaustive list):
- Educational workshops, trainings, seminars, and information events.
- Multimedia awareness raising campaigns.
- Development and dissemination of educational materials, applications, websites, and online platforms.
- Development and dissemination of school-based programmes.
- Providing local assistance and advice to vulnerable consumers.
- Sharing knowledge and best practices on consumer education at national, regional, or EU-wide levels.
Capacity building activities for local organisations providing assistance and advice to consumers.
