Description
The call for proposals' objectives are to facilitate and support judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters, and promote the rule of law, independence and impartiality of the judiciary, including by supporting the efforts to improve the effectiveness of national justice systems, and the effective enforcement of decisions.
There are three priorities for 2025:
- Judicial cooperation in civil matters
- Judicial cooperation in criminal matters
- Support to the Member States for the setting up and strengthening of national networks active in the area of judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters

Summary of the results:
- Award of a grant to 15 proposals for a maximum amount of EUR 5,679,224.20 (out of the total budget of EUR 5.900.000 foreseen for this call)
- 5 proposals were placed on the reserve list for the amount of EUR 2.543.826,79
- Rejection of 14 proposals due to insufficient budget
- Rejection of 11 proposals due to insufficient relevance and/or quality and/or impact;
- Rejection of 3 ineligible and 3 inadmissible proposals.
The results of the evaluation were communicated to the applicants through individual letters on the Funding & tender opportunities Portal on 4 August 2025.
