Description
There are four priorities for the 2021 call for proposals for action grants to promote judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters:
- Judicial cooperation in civil matters
- Judicial cooperation in criminal matters
- Support to Member States for the setting up and strengthening of national networks active in the area of judicial cooperation in civil and criminal matters
- Support to Member States for their connection to the ECRIS-TCN system

1. Eligible countries: as described in the Call document.
Member States of the European Union (including their overseas departments), excluding Denmark.
2. Eligibility and admissibility conditions: as described in the Call document.

The results of the evaluation were communicated to applicants on 18 October 2021.
Summary of the results:
- Award of a grant to 15 proposals for the amount of EUR 6.606.356,52 EUR (out of the total indicative budget EUR 6 650 000)
- 8 proposals were placed on the reserve list for the amount of EUR 3.898.702,60
- Rejection of 5 proposals for a lack of budget
- Rejection of 19 proposals due to insufficient relevance and/or quality
- Rejection of 1 inadmissible/ineligible proposal
The submission deadline has been extended to 18 May 2021 17h00 Brussels time.
