Description
This call aims to build capacities for active surveillance of highly pathogenic avian influenza in wild birds by creating a network of surveillance nodes across Europe. Those surveillance nodes comprise 9 geographic locations, in which relevant infrastructure for the capture and sampling of wild birds as well as rapid testing and sequencing of samples will be established and maintained. Capacities will then be evaluated annually by conducting fieldwork over 3 years.
