Conferences, workshops and seminars

Increased abilities of professionals involved in the protection of the Union’s financial interests through the acquisition of new skills, knowledge of specialised methodologies and techniques as well as an increased awareness of fraud risk indicators and the Union’s anti-fraud policy priorities. Increased network and exchange of best practices opportunities. These results will be measured, amongst others, by the number of events and number of participants, their origin and professional background and the level of participants’ overall satisfaction with the events.

Organising conferences, workshops and seminars and creating networks and structural platforms between Member States, candidate countries, other third countries, EU institutions and international organisations:

a) to facilitate the exchange of information, experience and best practices, including in the field of data analysis;

b) to create networks and improve coordination between Member States, candidate countries, other third countries, EU institutions and international organisations;

c) to facilitate multi-disciplinary cooperation between anti-fraud practitioners and academics and raise awareness among the judiciary and other legal professionals in relation to the protection of the Union’s financial interests.
