Description
Town Twinning projects aim at promoting intercultural dialogue by bringing people of different nationalities and different languages together and giving them the opportunity to participate in common activities.
Expected results
-
An increase in and encouragement of mutual understanding and friendship between citizens at a local level;

Support for citizens from local communities to experience and recognise the added value that the EU provides through a grassroots approach;

An increased sense of belonging to the EU;

Encouragement of a long-lasting bond between municipalities and between citizens.

Mono/Multi-beneficiary Model Grant Agreement
Decision of 30/09/2022 authorising the use of lump sums for actions under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (2021-2027) The new amounts of the lump sums for Town Twinning actions can be found on page 14-15
Lump Sums Calculator (the calculator can also be downloaded during submission). The Town Twinning call is a lump sums call. These are based on the number of international participants attending the events. The use of this calculator is mandatory to calculate the budget. The calculated amount must correspond to the budget mentioned in Part A of the proposal.
