Description
The objective is to support the deployment of Alternative Fuel supply infrastructure, contributing to decarbonising transport along the TEN-T network.
Scope:The following Actions will be supported:
- Actions supporting the roll-out of electricity recharging infrastructure for Light-Duty and Heavy-Duty Vehicles of a minimum power output of respectively 150kW and 350kW.
Costs related to vehicles will not be eligible.

CALL CLOSURE UPDATE: PROPOSAL NUMBERS
Call CEF-T-2024-AFIFGEN has closed on 11 June 2025.
73 proposals have been submitted.
The breakdown per topic is:

Evaluation results are expected to be communicated in Q1 2026.
UPDATE ALERT – The AFIF Call text has been adjusted!
The update includes the following elements:
- The third cut-off date has been postponed to 4 March 2026.
- The eligibility criteria have been clarified for maritime and inland waterway vessels supplied by hydrogen refuelling stations and ammonia or methanol facilities.
- The extension principle for projects funded with unit contributions has been modified.

CALL UPDATE (CEF-T-2024-AFIFGEN): EVALUATION RESULTS

The results of the evaluation are as follows:
- Number of submitted proposals: 49
- Number of admissible and eligible proposals: 37
- Number of inadmissible proposals: 7
- Number of ineligible proposals: 5
- Number of successful proposals: 31
Total CEF contribution for the successful proposals: EUR 331 548 600
Applicants were informed recently about the evaluation results for their proposals.
