Description
The objective is to support the deployment of Alternative Fuel supply infrastructure, contributing to decarbonising transport along the TEN-T network.
Scope:The following Actions will be supported:
- Actions supporting the roll-out of electricity fast-charging infrastructure of a minimum power output of 150kW, including electricity grid connexion, on the TEN-T road network.
Costs related to vehicles will not be eligible.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – AFIF CALLS: Admissibility conditions for the 5th AFIF cut-off deadline
Due to effective budget absorption under cut-off 1-4 and the resulting budgetary constraints, the 5th cut-off will only be open to proposals supported by an Implementing Partner. Proposals supported by other public or private financial institutions will be declared inadmissible.
The call texts for both General and Cohesion envelopes have been updated accordingly. The new version is published on the Funding & Tenders Portal.

The recharging points eligibility map has been added to the interactive map editor
The AFIF maps showing the eligible TEN-T road sections for deploying recharging points infrastructure can now be displayed in the interactive map editor of the e-Grants eSubmission system.
Update of the eligibility map for Heavy Duty Vehicles
An updated map of recharging points at 350kW for heavy Duty Vehicles has been released. It displays a significant increase of eligible TEN-T road sections across the European Union for the deployment of recharging stations.
